The optimal solution in this situation is the implementation of the so-called circular bridge on implants. Depending on the individual situation, a different number of implants are used. However, the most common practice is the implantation of six implants on which twelve crowns are mounted. In this situation, the rebuilt arch is limited to tooth #6, but it allows for a permanent fixed restoration that does not need to be removed. The chewing function, aesthetics and general sensations are very similar to natural dentition. The hygienist provides the patient with all necessary instructions and teaches proper hygiene of such a restoration, which can then serve for a very long time.

The cost of this solution depends on the type of implant system chosen and the crown used. The total cost of placing six implants, uncovering them and - after a period of 3 to 6 months - placing twelve crowns on six implants, varies from PLN 37,200 to 54,000 PLN.

An alternative solution is the implementation of a complete denture supported on implants. An individually determined number of implants is placed in the maxilla or mandible, usually at least two in the mandible and four in the maxilla. Special attachments are mounted on the implants - elements that connect to properly prepared matrices built into the denture. The most popular type of attachment, such as the Locator type, achieves a sufficient connection with the denture, to be able to bite and talk without problems. The unique design of these attachments allows for relatively easy removal of the denture for hygienic operations. The described solution is especially recommended in elderly patients due to the easy maintenance of proper hygiene of such dentures. In addition, the smaller number of implants significantly reduces the cost of treatment.
