In the absence of two adjacent teeth, the optimal solution is to make two separate implants with all-ceramic crowns. In this case, we make use of all the advantages of implant prosthetics, just like during the replacement of single teeth with implants. The area where teeth are missing is irrelevant - separate implants with crowns will work in both the anterior section as highly aesthetic restorations, as well as in the posterior section - ensuring adequate durability and occlusal strength.
The cost of this solution depends on the type of implant system chosen and the crowns used. The total cost of placing two implants, uncovering them and - after a period of 3 to 6 months - placing two crowns on implants, varies from 10400 zł to 14400 zł.
An alternative solution is to place one implant with two crowns attached. It is a solution with a number of limitations, the crown not directly attached to the implant abutment cannot replace a natural tooth with high involvement during chewing. In practice, this is therefore only possible in the anterior section of the dental arch. In the posterior area, this alternative is not recommended.
The cost of this solution depends on the type of implant system chosen and the crowns used. The total cost of placing the implant, uncovering it and - after a period of 3 to 6 months - placing two connected crowns on a single implant, varies from PLN 6,200 to 9,000.
We encourage you to read the description of the individual steps involved in the implant surgery.
An alternative solution for implant placement is the use of a prosthetic bridge. This option, however, requires the preparation and removal of tooth structure of neighboring teeth on which the bridge is cemented. Due to the need to remove healthy tooth structure, patients often choose implants as the preferred method of replacing missing teeth.
