The optimal solution is the use of three independent implants with all-ceramic crowns attached. As in the case of the lack of a single tooth, it does not matter if the missing teeth are in the anterior or posterior segment of the dental arch, and whether they are surrounded by existing natural teeth or a posterior edentulous area at the end of the arch. Each implant is an integral and independent whole, which perfectly reproduces the function and aesthetics of natural dentition.

The cost of this solution depends on the type of implant system chosen and the crowns used.

The total cost of placing three implants, uncovering them and - after a period of 3 to 6 months - placing three crowns on implants, ranges from 15600 PLN to 21600 PLN.

An alternative solution is the implantation of two implants with three crowns attached in the form of a bridge. This is a very good solution, that also reduces the cost of such a procedure, due to the placement of two implants instead of three, as well a smaller number of components necessary for the assembly of one of the crowns because it is combined with the other two. Two implants allow for a fully acceptable distribution of masticatory forces on such a construction; therefore, this alternative is the recommended solution in the absence of three teeth. The placement of the implants is determined individually - they can be placed as end abutments on either side of the pontic or instead, the pontic can be located at the end of the bridge.

The total cost of placing two implants, revealing them and - after a period of 3 to 6 months - the placement of a bridge on two implants, varies from PLN 11400 to PLN 16200.

An alternative solution for implant placement is the use of a prosthetic bridge. This option, however, requires the preparation and removal of tooth structure of neighboring teeth on which the bridge is cemented. Due to the need to remove healthy tooth structure, patients often choose implants as the preferred method of replacing missing teeth.
