The optimal solution is to use five independent implants with all-ceramic crowns attached. As in the case of the lack of a single tooth, it does not matter if the missing teeth are in the anterior or posterior segment of the dental arch, and whether they are surrounded by existing natural teeth or a posterior edentulous area at the end of the arch. Each implant is an integral and independent whole, which perfectly reproduces the function and aesthetics of natural dentition. The cost of this solution depends on the type of implant system chosen and the crown used.
The total cost of placing five implants, uncovering them and - after a period of 3 to 6 months - placing five crowns on five implants, varies from PLN 26,000 to PLN 36,000
Alternative solutions include reducing the number of implants placed with maintain the five crowns which form the bridge. In this case, we consider the following configurations:
Reduction in the number of implants allows for a significant reduction in the cost of the entire restoration. However, in the case of the last proposed solution it is necessary to use particularly large screws, deeply embedded in the bone, which allow the transfer of chewing forces from up to five restored teeth. This situation requires individual analysis and evaluation of the possibility of such treatment by the implantologist and, if necessary, the use of additional controlled tissue regeneration procedures. The cost of such a solution is possible to estimate after the patient's examination and is an individual evaluation.
We encourage you to read the description of the individual steps involved in the implant surgery.
An alternative solution for implant placement is the use of a prosthetic bridge. This option, however, requires the preparation and removal of tooth structure of neighboring teeth on which the bridge is cemented. Due to the need to remove healthy tooth structure, patients often choose implants as the preferred method of replacing missing teeth.
